FIELD: magnetic separation of materials. SUBSTANCE: device has working organ made in form of hollow bodies containing permanent magnets inside moving along the longitudinal axis of the hollow bodies. The load bearing surface is made in form of plate dividing the area into separation zone and recovery zone and being set rotatably through 180 deg in parallel to the flow. Being enclosed into units allowing vibrations, for instance, in flexible housings, the precipitation members are fixed on the bearing surface. The permanent magnets are built up as a stack of magnetic plates disposed in precipitation member with their planes being in perpendicular to its axis. The permanent magnets face each other with the like poles and are separated one from another with spacers. Medium to be separated enters the separation zone on the precipitation members, where it is divided into flows. Admixtures to be separated are caught by the members in the lower part of rods. The medium cleared from admixtures arrives at the conveyer and is removed. The bearing surface turns about the axis. The parts of the precipitation members change their places, the magnets move downwards under gravity. Precipitated admixtures are separated and fall into a trough to be transported to the waste dump. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in separating materials. 3 cl, 3 dwg
