FIELD: operation of self-propelled vehicles. SUBSTANCE: device is secured on steering wheel 1 and has rod 2 with fork 3 on one end and faces 4 divided by beads 5 on other end, lever 6 with through hole 7 along axis and hook 8. Lever 6 has special arrangement for fixing rod 2 in hole 7 of lever 6 including position detent in form of ball installed in body and locking device with drum- type lock. Ball is arranged in hole whose axis is square to axis of hole 7 of lever 6. Bead forming narrowing of hole is made in hole 7 of lever 6 at its outlet. Fitted under ball at outlet of hole in slot of body 9 is leaf spring. Lock drum is installed in blind hole under spring. Axis of blind hole is square to axis of hole. Groove is made on drum generating line, and slots are made in body 9. Retainers get into slots. EFFECT: simplified design of locking device and position detent, reduced overall dimensions of body. 3 dwg
