FIELD: oil and gas industry. SUBSTANCE: device for directed drilling has a body and a rotor with a unit for its rotation. The rotor is mounted in the body on bearings. Between the bearings there is a ballast weight with axial grooves. The ballast weight is mounted for movement on guides provided on the rotor external side. The ballast weight is spring-loaded on both sides. In the process of operation, the ballast weight performs axial oscillations, and the amplitude of these oscillations is much greater than that of longitudinal oscillations of the bit. This makes the movement of both the rotor and ballast weight faster, and the gyroscopic momentum is enhanced. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
