FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: milking plant has liquid-piston vacuum pump 1 communicating with the plant vacuum line and water tank 2. The water tank has heat-conducting wall 17 in common with additional sealed water tank 14. The latter is in communication with vacuum line 5 and an open water source. In operation, pump 1 provides for a desired milking mode, and it may be used for uptake of water from source 16 and delivery of water to additional tank 14. Wall 17 provides a means to cool water circulating in the pump contour and heat water in tank 14. Water from tank 14 is used to serve the process needs. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
