FIELD: meat industry; processing of tubular bones. SUBSTANCE: device comprises a frame, a cutter mechanism consisting of two symmetrical stationary and movable cutters with counter- opposed V-shaped cutting edges, a mechanism for feeding and orienting the bone, consisting of a guide and a shaft reciprocating on said guide and provided with a clamp at the end, and a drive of the movable cutter. The latter is made up of two massive meshing toothed segments articulated on frame-mounted axles, the driving segment being connected by an arm to the rod of an air cylinder. The driven segment has a recess for the bone while the movable cutter is positioned above said recess. The length of the arm which connects the rod of the air cylinder and the axle of the driving segment is larger than the distance from the axle of the driven segment with the slot to the plane passing through the apex of the recess of the movable cutter with the V-shaped cutting edge.
