FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has horizontal case with branches for introducing and removing polymer and gaseous reagent. Agitator made in form of two toruses is placed inside the case. The toruses are mounted for reciprocal motion. The toruses are embraced by ribbons along total generating lines. Ends of ribbons are reeled up the drum, which is disposed at the center of the case. Turbulence is generated by toruses, which turbulence is sufficient for mixing polymer and gas. Rarefaction created and compression then accelerate process of drying polymer. EFFECT: excluded stagnation areas; improved uniformity of treatment. 1 dwg
