FIELD: muscular drive vehicles. SUBSTANCE: split pedal of bicycle has hub installed for turning on shaft square to crank and device to fix shoe on pedal. Hub is made in form of truncated cone whose wider part points to crank and device for fixing the shoe is made in form of bushing. Inner surface of bushing is mated with outer surface of hub. To increase fixing of shoe, bushing can be furnished with additional fixing member made in form of one or several catches. To increase wedging, hub can be furnished with coaxial projections and in this case bushing is provided with coaxial cavities. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of fixing. 3 cl, 3 dwg
