FIELD: bicycles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pedals of bicycles equipped with clip for fastening shoe spike 14 and to bicycle rider shoes. Spike 14 is connected with sole by means of seat part 100. Its front part 102 and rear part 104 engage with front and rear clips of pedal. Front part 102 has nose and sides. Nose includes first butt-joining surface 106 pointed upwards to interact with corresponding surface of front clip. Sides includes second butt-joining surfaces 108 pointed downwards for interaction with corresponding surface of front clip. First and second butt-joining surfaces 106, 108 pointed to opposite sides should lie in approximately one plane. Rear butt-joining part 104 has nose 109 at sides of which pair of third butt-joining surfaces 110 is located, pointed upwards for interaction with corresponding surface of rear clip. Adjusting screw is installed in pedal body to thrust against projection of clip to overcome resistance of spring at turning.
EFFECT: prevention of clogging of spike-to-pedal joint.
