FIELD: catalysts. SUBSTANCE: method involves the following stages: treatment of silicon dioxide with liquid chloro-containing compound taken from the group: boron trichloride, aluminium trichloride, silicon tetrachloride, addition of treated silicon dioxide to the liquid hydrocarbon, addition of 2-methylpentylhydroxy-magnesium chloride to the prepared suspension and then titanium ester taken from the group: tetracresyltitanate, titanium tetrabutoxide, titanium tetranonalate, and tetra-2-ethylhexyltitanate followed by washing solid product and its separation, and addition of titanium tetrachloride to it. Before treatment of silicon dioxide with liquid chloro-containing compound it can be additionally calcined or treated with hexamethylsilazane. Product after contact of silicon dioxide suspension with 2-methylpentylhydroxy-magnesium chloride can be additionally treated with liquid chloro-containing compound taken from the group: boron trichloride, aluminium trichloride, silicon tetrachloride, and ethylbenzoate also. In the process of washed solid product separation from the stage of contacting with titanium ester product can be treated with ethylbenzoate. Prepared catalysts can be used for synthesis of high-molecular homo- and copolymers of α-olefins, a-olefins and polar monomers, rubber in part, in polypropylene production.
