FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, steel smelting industry. SUBSTANCE: method provides for introduction of chrome-nickle wastes as alloying additions in steel casting ladle during its filling with molten metal. Wastes of chrome-nicle steel with lumps thickness of 0.5 -5.0 mm are loaded in ladle filled with molten steel by 1/3 1/2 of its height with mass speed of 0.08 - 0.12 of mass speed of steel pouring on surface of metal in ladle with radius of no more than 10 radiuses of pouring metal dropping stream.
