FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: cabbage harvester comprises a device 1 for lifting and conveying cabbage heads, cutting apparatus 2 consisting of a pair of discs, a hold-down conveyor and a device for cleaning the heads of leaves. The latter device has a pair of endless conveyors 6 and a member 11 capable of turning together with rigid working tools on its upper surface. One end of each conveyor 6 is disposed on pulley 7 mounted under each disc cutter, coaxially therewith. Diameter of each pulley 7 is larger than that of the other pulley 7 and conveyors 6 carry working tools 9 for cleaning the cabbage head of leaves, said conveyors being arranged at an angle to horizontal plane and to one another. The minimum distance between conveyors is at their discharge end. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 2 dwg
