FIELD: agricultural engineering.

SUBSTANCE: cabbage harvesting machine has frame, transporting screw, bottom positioned under screw and adapted for moving of cabbage heads, and discharge conveyor equipped with flexible carrier member. Machine is further furnished with additional frame and cutter bar whose shaft is located within transportation screw tube for rotation in direction opposite in relation to direction of rotation of cutter bar. Cutter bar, transportation screw and scraper-type discharge conveyor are driven by power shaft of tractor, said driving being provided by distribution of torque direction through reducer, chain transmission and belt transmission. Discharge conveyor is mounted on additional frame. Main and additional frames are pivotally connected with one another so that main frame is movable relative to additional frame.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation.
