FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: ion exchanger has a housing. Rotating means with a filtering member are mounted along the housing axis on its surface. Ionite is placed inside the filtering member. The ion exchanger also has branch pipes for feeding and removing the solution. The housing is made as a tore having the variable cross-section. The rotating means with the ionite placed inside it represents itself at least one resilient tore made of filter cloth. The tore is equipped with means keeping an eye on the conformity of the torus dimensions to the housing cross-section. The means are made as a resilient belt mounted on the tore. EFFECT: enhanced quality of cleaning substances from impurities, enhanced efficiency of ion-exchange processes resulting from the displacement of the tores in the housing along the closed circle in the flow of the productive solution. 1 cl, 1 dwg
