FIELD: seismic prospecting. SUBSTANCE: vibrating exciter has a housing, shafts with unbalances mounted in the housing and made in the form of half-disks set up on the axes perpendicular to the shaft ones. A curvilinear groove is made in each half-disk. The mechanism of regulation of the unbalance position is made in the form of a slide block with a dowel interacting with the curvilinear groove of half-disks, is mounted in the housing between the half-disks and can shift along the shaft axes.
