FIELD: casting of metals. SUBSTANCE: crystallizer for continuous casting of metals and alloys has a body in which a porous member and a uniform metal member with distributing channel are mounted. Within metal member along porous member at an invariable step feeding channels are constructed. Channel cross section reduces towards the outlet of crystallizer. At the distance of 0,2-0,6 of crystallizer length from crystallizer inlet cross section of each feeding channel is reduced 1,5-2,0 times. At crystallizer outlet cross section of each feeding channel is reduced 1,2-1,5 times. In this case total width of feeding channels over crystallizer perimeter is equal to perimeter of porous member from the side facing the cast workpiece. Cross section of distributing channel exceeds the total cross section of feeding channels. EFFECT: improved design. 2 dwg, 2 tbl
