THREAD BREAKAGE TRANSDUCER Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: textile industry; monitoring devices. SUBSTANCE: transducer has non-balanced lever with thread guide secured on movable axle, larger and smaller current-collecting plates. Installed on axle of transducer housing in holder is permanent magnet in form of ferromagnetic ring magnetized so that magnetic field is concentrated in ring geometric centre. Hermetically sealed reed relay is fixed in area close to ring geometric centre. Relative position of elements of thread breakage transducer and their overall dimensions are selected so that with thread broken and non-balanced lever with thread guide turned, hermetically sealed reed relay and transducer signalling circuit get commutated.
