FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrumentation, namely, to devices for monitoring the level of liquids and can be used to fix the level of water, oil, oil products and other types of liquids in containers, open or closed tanks, wells. The liquid level indicator contains a housing, a non-magnetic guide tube, inside of which there is a guide containing at least one reed switch module connected to the measuring device and power source, a float with an annular magnet, upper and lower float travel stops. In this case, the reed switch module includes two holder boards connected by conductive rods to which signal lines are connected, at least three reed switches are soldered between the holder boards, and at least three fixed resistors are placed on one of the holder boards, electrically connected to each other with the formation, respectively, of at least three reed-resistor pairs connected in parallel with a series connection of the reed switch and a fixed resistor in each pair.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the device and the objectivity of monitoring the level of liquid, in particular oil and oil products, in various types of containers.
