FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves extension of interphalangeal articulations of each finger in external fixation apparatus and additional forced flexion in metacarpophalangeal articulations to remove contractures. Then superficial hand finger flexor tendons are transposed over the block-shaped ligament fixing the metacarpophalangeal articulations at an angle of 90 deg. The displaced tendons being adhered, forced development of the same articulations is repeated to obtain metacarpophalangeal articulation extension angle not exceeding 70 deg.
