FIELD: welding operation provision. SUBSTANCE: power source includes connected by cascade an input rectifier, a filter, a resonance inverter with reverse-polarity diodes and with a transformer output and control system, two connected in parallel output rectifiers. The inverter has two switching circuits, containing connected in series capacitors and primary windings of the output transformers. Each circuit is designed for switching its own thyristor-diode pair. The power source also includes a recharging circuit, having connected in series a choke and a diode. The output transformers may have common magnetic guide. The input rectifier and the filter may be in the form of combined rectifying doubler with the filter.
