WAVE-AND-WIND POWER PLANT Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

Abstract RU 2049926 C1

FIELD: hydraulic power engineering. SUBSTANCE: platform mounted above water level carries a multiplier connected with an electric generator, a hollow pontoon with ballast and outer ribs in the lower part. Upper end of a vertical bar support is kinematically linked with input shaft of the multiplier while the lower end, with the pontoon. The platform has radial spokes encompassing a pile. Each pontoon has a central and two side holes. Bars enter the side holes in a spaced relation and are pairwise connected in the lower part by horizontal beams. Ribs have the form of individual horizontal rods and members on axles capable of rising and lowering. The members and horizontal rods are pairwise disposed one above another in rows and secured to the pontoons by vertical rods with holes. Each member comprises four plates connected to the axle. The lowermost members are connected to the support bars with a provision for moving jointly with the pontoons. The platform is provided with a crane mechanism for lifting the supports. EFFECT: improved design. 5 dwg
