FIELD: regenerative energy sources, wind and hydraulic power in particular.
SUBSTANCE: proposed energy converter has fixed strut with output shaft, platforms with flat blades and units for change of orientation and fixation of Blade position. Platforms are immovably secured around output shaft and are provided with central and peripheral sprockets and chain. Peripheral sprockets are mounted on units used for change of orientation and fixation of blade position; these sprockets are kinematically linked with central sprocket mounted on fixed strut for turn and fixation of angular position. Energy converter is additionally provided with two wheels articulated on vertical struts along motion of medium (water) and couplers articulated together and engageable with units changing orientation and fixation of blade position which are engageable in their turn with central sprockets of respective wheels through first and second peripheral sprockets. Energy converter is additionally provided with second shaft fitted with levers, kinematically linked second peripheral sprockets and central sprocket mounted on second medium flow direction indicator; blades are interconnected by means of couplers engageable with lever tips and units changing orientation and fixation of blade position.
EFFECT: considerable increase of power of energy converter and enhanced sensitivity to weak flows of wind and water.
