FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: gas flue of rotary furnace 1 is of two-branch type; it consists of trunks 2 and 3. Heat exchanger consists of two branches (right-hand and left-hand). Heat exchange elements which form stages of heating are made as twin vertical tubes 4 with settling chamber 5 in its lower portion. Material lines of each branch of heat exchanger are connected respectively with stages of heat exchanger of other branch, i. e. stages of heat exchanger branches are cross-connected. Material feed line 9 is introduced in 1st stage of right-hand branch of heat exchanger. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 1 dwg
