FIELD: production of welding electrodes. SUBSTANCE: electrode daubing press head has casing with daubing chamber, mass supply channel and core drawing pipe joined with mass supply channel and disposed at an angle with respect to this channel. Pipe has two longitudinal mass passage channels positioned in diametrically opposed relation. Pipe is made in the form of cylindrical extension. Total area of working sections of two mass passage channels is equal to working section area of mass supply channel. Mass supply channel-core drawing pipe joining zone has smooth transition portion with curvature radius equal to at least three diameters of mass supply channel. EFFECT: increased efficiency by reduced resistance to daubing mass flow and as a consequence reduced molding pressure, decreased power consumption, increased coating concentration and improved appearance. 1 dwg
