FIELD: assembly equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying static press force to shaft 3 and simultaneously exciting resonant oscillations by vibrator 4 mounted on shaft 3 to achieve resonance. Oscillations passed through formed connection are perceived by vibration acceleration detector 5 and converted into electrical signal supplied to input of first integrator 13 and second input of first amplifier unit 10. Press force detector 9 delivers signal proportional to engagement force between vibrator 4 and shaft 3. Measurement of press force, vibration acceleration force, vibration speed force, vibration bias force and detection of inertia, dissipation and elastic characteristics as a function of linear relative displacement of parts to be connected are effectuated by displacing sensors 6, detection unit and control unit. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 1 dwg
