FIELD: preliminary treatment of fibers. SUBSTANCE: batcher is designed for fiber supply of definite amount per time unit by means of two supplying rolls located at lower end of bin with fibers and rotating in opposite direction to form working gap between them. In this case, preferably, one opening roll is located under feeding rolls. At least, one feeding roll is preliminarily pressed in direction to other feeding roll and installed for motion relative to it under the pressure of fibers. Besides, there is means for measuring distance between feeding rolls or value proportional to value of this distance, and means for regulation of number of revolutions of feeding rolls depending on distance between them to attain supply of preset amount of fiber per time unit.
