SUBSTANCE: starting gas-and-air mixture is tangentially fed to outer pipe 1 to give rise to vortex column of light fraction of hot components and cold flow of heavy components of mixture moving in opposite direction in inner pipe 3. Gas mixture is fed at supersonic speed through Laval nozzle 8. Device for separating the gas-and-air mixtures has outer pipe 1 with tangential branch pipe 2 for introducing the mixtures where Laval nozzle 8 with bevel cut is arranged. Located coaxially relative to pipe 1 is pipe 3 for discharge of cold products of separation on whose surface through holes 9 are provided and adjusting throttle 4 is mounted on end located beyond pipe 1. Outer pipe 1 is provided with throttle valve 6 for passage of vortex column. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 2 dwg
