FIELD: cleaning gases. SUBSTANCE: filter has housing and filter unit mounted inside the housing. The filtering unit comprises filtering members made of a corrugated material. The compressed ends of corrugations of the filtering units are rigidly interconnected in pair from the both sides to define slots for supplying and discharging air. The housing consists of side walls interconnected by way of face walls to define small baths. The filtering units are made up as plates of corrugated material. The plates are put on each other in one direction of corrugations. The ends of the corrugations of adjacent filtering units is squeezed from the both sides in pair and sealed to define a folded filtering assembly. The face side of the folds of the filtering assembly together with the housing walls are received in the small bath filled with a sealant and conditioned until solidified. The second small bath is then filled with the sealant. The opposite side of the filtering unit is submerged into the sealant together with the housing walls and conditioned until solidified.
