FIELD: biochemical treatment of sewage. SUBSTANCE: biotank consists of containers superposed one on top of another. Each container has the form of a cassette consisting of a detachable upper part with bristles secured in the vertical plane at angles from 30 to 60 deg. to the flow surface at a distance from 5 to 20 mm from one another, and a lower part a container partitioned into communicating channels. Installed in the end of the last channel is a drain branch pipe functioning as a sewage aerator. The drain pipe diameter is characterized by Reynolds numbers from 3000 to 6000 and its length is 5-8 its diameters. EFFECT: improved design. 3 dwg
