FIELD: sewage treatment. SUBSTANCE: floatation biotank filter comprises a reservoir partitioned into intake chamber, floatation oxidizer and service water recirculation chamber hydraulically connected with a floating-charge filter and the pump which provides for recirculation of service water and saturating it with atmospheric air to deliver oxygen consumed by biofilm and active silt. The nitrogen part of air is used for floatation cleaning of silt mixture and filter washing water. Normal functioning of the device is provided for by a pumping unit which sucks in atmospheric air, dissolves it, delivering water-air mixture into floatation oxidizer and ejecting return silt and initial flow.
