FIELD: wood-pulp-and-paper industry. SUBSTANCE: this drying device incorporates drying cylinders disposed in two rows one above another and separated into groups along process stream. Drying cylinders are secured in bearings on beds on face and driving sides thereof. Bed driving side carries hollow casings secured in two rows one above another and supported by peripheral and central load-carrying posts. Disclosed device further incorporates clusters of driving gears, parasite gears enclosed in hollow casings and drying cylinder gears provided with circulatory lubrication means. Casings of beds disposed on driving side in each group of drying cylinders are made in the form of two monoblocks nondetachable throughout their length. Monoblocks have means for accumulating, overflowing and maintaining prescribed level of lubricant. Parasite gears and gears of drying cylinders are disposed inside monoblocks in such a manner that their lower edges are located on single horizontal line. Cluster of driving gears is disposed in central post. Peripheral posts are provided with means of regulating relative position of drying cylinders and monoblocks.
