FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: heating engine consists of interconnected evaporating and condensation chambers partially filled with a heat carrier, for instance, with sodium. The assembly of the heat exchanging members is mounted inside the condensation chamber. The members connect the distributing and collecting manifolds. The evaporation chamber is provided with a heat source. The heating member is constructed as a radiation burner mounted in the zone of evaporation of the heat pipe. The heat exchanging member is constructed as two concentrically arranged pipes. The space of the ring gap is in communication with the collectors.
