FIELD: manufacture of ceramic articles. SUBSTANCE: high-temperature vacuum furnace consists of water-cooled cylindrical housing with detachable covers, chambers with shield heat insulation heating elements secured on cover; chamber is provided with device for feeding and circulating the gas, discharge hole and car-type of coaxial pair of load-bearing casings; shield heat insulation made in form of plates is located in clearance between these casings; plates of heat insulation are separated by fastening rings; casings are rigidly connected at ends by means of flanges which carry water cooling pipe arranged in rectangular groove; grooves located in cross section receive two sealing rings. Cover consists of parts separated by flange which are convex in form and are provided with discharge pipe, heat exchanger outlets, heating elements and cylindrical portion with strength plating and shield heat insulation. Bottom of cylindrical portion of cover has holes to receive discharge pipes and plate on which heating elements made in form of cylinders of various diameters are mounted; inner volume of minimum cylindrical cover is occupied by U-shaped tubes of heat exchanger and other cylindrical cover provided with strength plating has shield heat insulation between flat disk with mounting seats for locking the hearth and spherical bottom of cover. Both covers may enter inner volume of cylindrical casing by the amount equal to thickness of shield heat insulation. Hearth with charge consists of hollow cylinders located coaxially; thickness of walls of these cylinders is equal to width of article; these cylinders may enter gaps between cylindrical heating elements. Hearth is mounted on car-type truck with cylindrical cover connected with motion unit. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 2 dwg
