FIELD: heat engineering. SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger has housing 1 with radial branch pipes 2 and 9 for intertube medium, heat exchange tubes 3 arranged in housing 1 parallel to its axis with clearances relative to each other, and distributing manifold 10 and collecting manifold 11 with branch pipes 4 and 5 for tube medium. Sum of areas of outer cross sections of heat exchange tubes 3 and area of inner cross section of housing 1 are in the following relationship: , where n number of heat exchange tubes 3; Fi area of outer cross section of i-th tube 3; Fi area of inner cross section of housing 1. Inner and outer surface of heat exchange tubes 3 can be made with circular or spiral projections arranged relative to each other at interval equal to 4-5 inner diameters of tube 1. Area of side surface of one coil of projection and area of inner cross section of tube 1 are in relationship where Fs and Fin are above indicated areas, respectively. EFFECT: increased hydromechanical pulsations with resultant intensification of heat transfer by 30-130% as compared with heat transfer in flows without pulsation. 2 cl, 3 dwg
