FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: stator of single-phase induction motor has salient-pole core and winding. Core is built up of separate laminations. Each lamination is thickened on one part from axis of symmetry. On its other part, laminations are installed so that air gap between them is provided. Air gap equals height of thick part which is 0.5-0.77 mm. At thick points, laminations are fixed together. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 4 dwg
