FIELD: metal forming. SUBSTANCE: method of making vessels from sheet metals comprises steps of preparing a cylindrical blank, making two convex bases, including cone shells, with discs, had been welded to them; welding the bases to a cylindrical envelope; expanding a semifinished product, had been made, in a through - type cylindrical cavity by a liquid pressure, acting from inside, until imparting to the bases a necessary spherical shape. A radius of the through cylindrical cavity is equal to a radius of the surface of the spherical bottom. EFFECT: simplified manufacturing process. 1 cl, 7 dwg
