FIELD: metallurgy, particular steel bottom casting. SUBSTANCE: device for metal bottom casting has bottom plate with bottom gate conduit and centering metal rod, ingot mold installed on centering rod and all-molded end brick with inner vertical channel and side hole for metal admission to ingot mold hollow. End brick is square in cross-section. Inner vertical channel is made cylindrical from below to the height of 2.5-3.5 channel diameter, and in its upper part it has conical widening upward with the height equalling the ingot mold bottom. Side hole is two-stage with external stage of larger diameter for accommodation of bottom gate conduit. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 dwg
