FIELD: welding. SUBSTANCE: welding current controller can be built in into welding sets and can be used for welding and cutting in various branches of industry. It can also be utilized where current, voltage and power control are required. Controller is connected in series in break of welding cable and has thyristors with anti-parallel connection which controlling electrodes are interconnected through resistor and triac. Triac has its own control circuit incorporating two RC circuits which are linked to its controlling electrode through dinistors with resistor. EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities for remote operations. 1 dwg
