FIELD: wood industry. SUBSTANCE: device for forming log bundles has pocket-storage formed by uprights 3 and 4 and base-tie 5, forming cable 1, one end of which is secured on cam 7 on section where radius of curvature is minimum; other end of cable is secured on forming upright 2. The latter is hinge- mounted on axle 6 at base of upright 3. Mounted on shaft 8 together with cam 7 is cam 9. Cable 10 with weight 11 is secured on section of cam 9 with minimum radius of curvature. Pocket - storage can be made two-section. Cams with forming cables 1 of each section are installed on one shaft 8 with cam 9 carrying cable 10 and weight 11.
