FIELD: fish processing industry. SUBSTANCE: method is carried out by washing of raw material, its grinding and treatment with the help of spent steam. The latter process takes place at 50-70 C and 1.1-2 atm within 20-30 min. Stickleback is used as mentioned above raw material. Thus obtained suspension is separated into solid (protein) and liquid (fugate) fraction. Then solid fraction is fed for processing into fodder mass, and liquid fraction being separated into fat and protein broth. Thus obtained fat is then analyzed with the help of microbiological methods. EFFECT: increases medicinal properties of desired fat. 2 tbl
