FIELD: shields applicable in washing machines and other equipment intended for separation of liquid and solid materials. SUBSTANCE: shield is made of many supporting rods and shield wires. Wires are arranged to form gaps between side surfaces of adjacent shield wires. Each wire has flat face surface which is fastened to supporting rods on its surface opposite to face one. Face surface of each shield wire has many projections spaced at preset intervals. Side surface of each shield wire may have many protrusions spaced at preset intervals.
