SELF-CONTAINED POWER SUPPLY SOURCE Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

Abstract RU 2053375 C1

FIELD: heat-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: housing 1 is provided with inner horizontal support 2 and cover 3. Fitted between housing 1 and cover 3 is blind detachable partition 4 which separates chamber at normal atmospheric pressure (above partition) from chamber at pressure equal to pressure in condenser. Turbine 5 having steam inlet and exhaust branch pipes and generator 6 are connected by means of their rotors 7 and 8 with the aid of gear wheels. Pump 9 having impeller and inlet and outlet branch pipes is located under horizontal support. Pump impeller is mounted on rotor 10 which is connected with rotors of turbine and generator 6 by means of bevel gear wheel; axes of rotors of turbine 5, generator 6 and pump 9 are mutually perpendicular. Mounted coaxially with generator is false shaft 11 connected with rotors of turbine 5 and pump 9 by means of bevel gear wheel. Steam generator 12 is located outside the housing gear wheel. Steam generator 12 is located outside the housing in zone of heat source and is connected with outlet branch pipe of pump 9 and inlet branch pipe of turbine 5 by means of pipe lines 13 and 14. Heat exchanger of condenser 15 is located outside the housing in zone of heat receiver and is connected with turbine exhaust branch pipe and condensate receiver 16 by means of flexible pipe lines 17 and 18. Condensate receiver 16 located in lower portion of housing is made in form of cylinder whose cross section falls far short of cross section of housing. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 1 dwg
