FIELD: water supply systems for power stations. SUBSTANCE: housing 1 with distribution chamber 5 in top part and air inlet ports 2 arranged in tiers through its height accommodates sprinkler built up of tubular members 7 formed by bands wound along cylindrical helical line with coiling angle of 10-60 deg; edge 10 of bands 8 is bent into member 7; upper edge 9 is bent outside from member 7 at angle of 5-60 deg. to surface of band 8 and embraces lower section of preceding turn to form clearance 11; width of upper bent edge is 2-12 times larger than clearance 11. Distribution plates 13 are installed on lower ends of members 7 in a spaced relation. Cooling tower may be provided, in addition, with exhaust pipe connection 4 and fan 3 mounted under sprinkler and communicating with outlet section of members 7. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 2 dwg
