FIELD: rubber processing industry; the invention makes it possible to prepare thin, light and strong packing material with renders additional properties to the material to be rolled up such as preservation even during prolonged storage and reduced in the manufactured article. SUBSTANCE: the process comprises manufacturing packing material from impregnated synthetic fabric. The novelty resides in that fabric from untwisted ribbon strips is treated with aqueous latex solution and then dried. EFFECT: more efficient manufacturing process. 1 tbl
