FIELD: manufacture of transparent polymeric material. SUBSTANCE: the composition comprises 100 wt parts of polycarbonate or polyether carbonate and 0.005- 1.0 wt part of alkali or alkaline earth metal salt of perfluoroxyalkanesulfonic acid of the general formula: MeSO₃-CF₂-CF₂-O-R-O-CF₂-CF₃, wherein R is -CF₂-CF-, CF; R₁=F is F, CF₃; Me is an alkali or alkaline earth metal; n is 0-4. The competition may comprise desired additives in an amount up to 0.5 wt part per 100 wt parts of the polymer. A salt is added to the composition in a polymer suspension as the polymer is recovered from the solution, whereafter the suspension is treated on a spraying drier and polycarbonate is granulated or a concentrate is prepared by dry mixing the salt and a polymer powder, and the whole is then granulated.
