FIELD: hydraulic metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: electrolyzer cathodic chamber has casing with perforated walls, hold-down cover and frame mounted within casing and provided with solution inlet opening and perforated current supplies secured to frame and carbon-graphite electrodes formed as zigzag-shaped ribbons positioned between perforated casing wall and perforated current supplies. Electronegative metal interlayers are positioned between ribbon zigzags. EFFECT: increased efficiency in extraction of metals from solutions. 2 dwg
