FIELD: knitting. SUBSTANCE: double-layer weft knitted fabric consists of loop wales including plain loops located on both sides of knitted fabric, and tuck loops, and has additional loop wales. Additional loop wales include loops of plain knit with elongated draws. One of draws of each reverse side loop forms additional tuck cast on face tuck loop, at least, through every other loop wale, and the other draw connects reverse side loop of same wale and laid on, at least, through every other loop wale. One of draws of each face loop forms tuck cast on reverse side tuck loop wale, and the other draw connects it with face loop of the same wale and laid, at least, through every other loop wale. In this case, tuck loops with one cast are staggered relative to loops of plain knit on both sides of knitted fabric. EFFECT: improved heat-keeping properties of knitted fabric. 1 dwg
