FIELD: examination of subsoil water mineralization. SUBSTANCE: method for examination for mineralization of subsoil water on large area includes creation of a system of observation wells, water sampling, chemical analysis for water-soluble salts, applying indices of subsoil water mineralization capacity in places where the wells are located. Key plot is dislocated and aerial space survey is performed to determine indices of subsoil water mineralization capacity at the area being examined. Regression relation between picture intensity level and mineralization level of subsoil water is determined on the base of indices of mineralization in places where the wells are located on the key plot. Intensity scale is set to correspond to classes of subsoil water mineralization. Mineralization of subsoil water is recognized for all the area being tested on the base of the determined dependence. Decoding results are transported to topographic base of a preset scale and subsoil water mineralization map is drawn by outlining locations with similar mineralization indices.
