FIELD: amelioration. SUBSTANCE: salts are removed by sowing halophytes followed by their harvesting. At the beginning of reclamation the halophytes are sown in a pure form while in subsequent years they are mixed with fodder crops, changing their ratio over a number of years after which the halophytes are fully replaced by fodder crops.
