FIELD: forestry engineering. SUBSTANCE: machine has bar mounted on frame and turned by hydraulic cylinder. Mounted on bar free end is gripping and planting mechanism with bell crank rocking on axle. Upper end of bell crank has rollers engaging with curvilinear guides rigidly secured on frame. Rigidly secured on lower end of bell crank is hollow colter. Hinge-mounted on bell crank is spring loaded carrier engaging in motion with soil and furnished with hinge-connected frame with spring-loaded grip coupled with hollow colter by means of flexible tie rod. Machine provides planting of tree seedlings in any place free from stumps and other hard objects. EFFECT: decreased cost of tree planting operations owing to dispensing with ground preparation works. 4 dwg
