FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: technological bottoms with areas of circular cross-sections and with portions of smooth transitions from article mandrel to the perimeter of maximum cross-section of bottom are assembled to face ends of article mandrel. Then calculated mandrel model is moulded in the form of continuous combination of reduced surfaces of shape of bodies of revolution. The zone of disposition of working body trajectory is prescribed to working area of machine. The borders of wound portions are changed. The portions which do not satisfy the requirements of winding as well as portions of unstable winding are identified. Corrections at the pattern angles of winding and of number of starts are assigned. Sequences of control programmes for layer winding are worked out and the shells are moulded.
